At least four people were killed and four others injured in a landmine explosion in the Pewar Sharamkhel area of Upper Kurram on Tuesday, confirmed District Police Officer (DPO) Habibullah.
According to the DPO, the blast occurred when a landmine detonated, instantly killing four individuals.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation amid fears of more landmines in the vicinity.
