MINGORA, May 2: Four security personnel were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a security forces convoy in Swat district on Friday, the police say.
The convoy, travelling from Banjot to Malam Jabba area, hit the roadside bomb. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.
On 1 May, the security forces foiled a suicide attack on a member of local peace committee, Dr Farooq, as the bomber blew himself up in botched attempt.
