KHAR, August 15: A girl died and six others were injured as a result of a roadside blast in Bajaur Agency, administration officials say.
The incident took place in Charmang area of Nawagai tehsil last night. Miss Zakhira and her fellows were on way back from a Madrassa (seminary) when a roadside bomb exploded, killing Miss Zakhira on the spot while her six friends sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to local hospital and the security forces conducted a search operation in the area thereafter.
