Gold prices recorded a sharp decline across Pakistan.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs4,700, bringing it down to Rs430,236.

The association also reported a Rs4,029 decrease in the price of 10 grams of gold, which now stands at Rs368,858.

Meanwhile, gold prices also declined further in the international market, with the precious metal dropping to its lowest level in seven months.

Experts say the fall in global gold prices has also affected the local market. They attribute the decline to fluctuations in the value of the US dollar, global economic conditions, and changing investment trends among investors.
