DI KHAN, May 12: A security guard of the Gomal Medical College died when unidentified people lobbed a hand grenade on the gate of the institution in Dera Ismail Khan district.
The police say the incident took place early in the morning when unidentified motorcyclists fired shots on the college gate and later threw a hand grenade. The guard on duty, Mr Khurram Abbas, died on the spot.
