The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a detailed report outlining the significant human and material losses caused by the recent heavy rains across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the report, in the past 24 hours alone, rain-related incidents have claimed six lives, including one man, one woman, and three children. The worst-hit area was Charsadda, where five members of the same family tragically lost their lives due to the relentless downpour.
Since July 1st, the total death toll across the province has risen to 107, with 146 people reported injured in various rain-related accidents.

The rains have also caused widespread destruction to property, with a total of 977 homes suffering damage. Of these, 262 houses were destroyed, leaving many families displaced and in urgent need of assistance.
The PDMA continues to monitor the situation, providing relief and support to the affected areas.
