BARA, June 2: The Forest Department in Khyber Agency has distributed honeybee boxes among 290 farmers.
Mr Sabir Rehman Afridi, assistant director of the department, said that previously the farmers had been trained in petting honey bees and also given two boxes each for starting honey business.
Mr Islam Gul Afridi, one of the farmers who received the bee boxes, told TNN, “We were also guided about honey making process and the diseases that may affect bees. They also told us how to feed honey bees. This is a nice business and many unemployed people can benefit from it.”
