In a humanitarian gesture, Pakistani security forces granted special permission to a 10-day-old Afghan newborn and the child's parents to enter Pakistan through the Torkham border crossing for urgent medical treatment.

The newborn, who belongs to Jalalabad, Afghanistan, was shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) in Peshawar, where the infant is receiving specialized medical care under the supervision of doctors.

According to sources, the decision was made purely on humanitarian grounds to ensure the newborn received timely and essential treatment.
