A resident of Surani area in Bannu, Ajab Noor Khan, has publicly disowned his son, Abdul Salam, following his alleged involvement in anti-state activities. He urged the government and state institutions not to hold him responsible for any unlawful actions committed by his son.

Speaking at a press conference at the Bannu Press Club, Ajab Noor Khan said that he is a peaceful, law-abiding, and loyal citizen who has always respected state institutions and the laws of the country.

He stated that his son, Abdul Salam, studied up to the 10th grade and was later enrolled in a religious seminary. However, according to him, Abdul Salam allegedly became involved in anti-state activities some time ago.

Ajab Noor Khan made it clear that he has no connection with his son's activities or actions and has completely severed ties with him. He added that if Abdul Salam surrenders and returns in the future, he will personally hand him over to the state authorities so that a decision can be made in accordance with the law.

He also informed his relatives, friends, and the local community that he and his son are completely separate and independent of each other; therefore, he should not be held responsible for any of his son's actions or activities.

Reaffirming his commitment, Ajab Noor Khan said that he will remain loyal to the country, the Constitution, and state institutions, and will continue to abide by the law under all circumstances.
