

JAMRUD, November 27: The inter-schools Bazm-e-Adab competitions (extra-curricular activities) have concluded in Khyber Agency.
A ceremony was held at Government High School No 2 in Jamrud subdivision.
Ms Lailoma Fazal Rabbi from the Government High School, Paindi Lalma won the competition of recitation of Holy Qur’an, Mr Aqib of Government Higher Secondary School clinched first position in Na’at competition and students of Mian Morcha School succeeded in national songs.
Meanwhile, Ms Lailoma Ahmed Hussain of Government High School Paindi Lalama stood first in Urdu debates, whilst Mr Rehmanullah of Government Higher Secondary School, Jamrud achieved top position in English speech competition.
“I am so happy to take first position and all of us would continue with our efforts. We will participate in other competitions as well and would make our schools proud of us. Our teachers really helped in making us fully prepared and we also rehearsed a lot. I will become a doctor in future, God willing!” stated one of the students
Students of 20 schools from all over the agency participated in the competitions.
