Iran has rejected the US president’s offer for negotiations, making it clear that it will not engage in talks with the United States at any level.

The head of Iran’s National Security Council, Ali Larijani, said in a statement posted on social media platform X that Iran will not negotiate with the US and that its policy on the matter is absolutely clear.

 In another statement, he said that US President Donald Trump’s self-styled ideas have pushed the Middle East toward chaos.

On the other hand, in an interview with an American magazine, Donald Trump said he is ready to hold talks with Iran’s new leadership.

 He claimed that the Iranian leadership is also willing to negotiate.

It is worth mentioning that following joint attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, tensions in the region remain high. 

Iran’s retaliatory actions are ongoing, while US and Israeli operations are also reportedly continuing.
