MINGORA, September 6: A two-day workshop on information technology for students of journalism has concluded in Swat district.
The workshop was meant to raise awareness among male and female students about significance of IT.
The trainer, Mr Nauman, told the participants on the occasion that those wishing to pick journalism as career must learn about technology.
“Present is the age of technology. One capable of using technology can prove to be a better journalist,” he added.
Several participants said the workshop was quite productive and helpful to them.
“It was a productive event. Hopefully the university administration would organize such workshops in future as well,” said a student.
Another students said, “We, the girl students, want to make a career in radio journalism and here we learnt about the hardware and software used in radio.”
