MARDAN, May 11: The Pakistan Workers Federation held a two-day training session to sensitise journalists on rights of labourers and role of media in Mardan district.
Journalists from Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Bunir, Charsadda, Shergarh, Peshawar and Dargai areas participated in the workshop.
The participants were trained about how to protect the rights of labourers through media.
On completion of the training, one of the journalists told TNN, “There is no or little contact between workers and journalists. Such trainings are important to aware journalists about problems of labourers and their solution.”
