The Judicial Commission of Pakistan, under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, has approved the appointment of 10 additional judges for the Peshawar High Court.
According to sources, the approved judges include Farah Jamshed, Aurangzeb, Inamullah Khan, Mudassir Amir, Sabitullah, Abdul Fayaz, Salahuddin, Sadiq Ali, Tariq Afridi, and Aurangzeb Khan.

The agenda for the Judicial Commission meeting initially proposed the appointment of 9 additional judges. However, during the session, the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court requested the appointment of 10 judges, a proposal that was agreed upon by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.
Sources further revealed that the appointments were approved by a majority vote, though three members of the commission raised objections to increasing the number from 9 to 10.
