PESHAWAR, November 29: Unidentified armed men have shot dead the JUI-F provincial Secretary General Khalid Mehmood Soomro in Sukkur district of Sindh.
According to media reports, ex-Senator Khalid Soomro, who hailed from Larkana, was offering morning prayers at a madrassa in Qureshi area today when unidentified armed men opened fire at him leaving him severely injured. The injured JUI-F leader succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to hospital.
Khalid Soomro has left behind a widow, six sons and three daughters. The JUI-F has announced mourning and protests in the country after Khalid Soomro’s killing.
