A wanted suspect, identified as Naseebullah, was killed in an exchange of fire between police and wanted militants in Karak. He was the main nominated and proclaimed offender in the case involving the martyrdom of police official Zafran. A search operation is underway to arrest other suspects.

According to Karak DPO Imran Khan, police launched an operation in the difficult mountainous area of Sarabi after receiving information about the presence of wanted suspects in FIR No. 533/26 registered at Sabirabad Police Station.

When the police party reached the area, the suspects opened fire, leading to an exchange of gunfire between the two sides. As a result, the main nominated and proclaimed offender in the case, Naseebullah, was killed.

Police said a search operation is continuing in the area to arrest the other suspects. Karak DPO Imran Khan also reached the site to supervise the operation.

Police official Zafran was martyred in a firing incident while on patrol within the jurisdiction of Sabirabad Police Station. Following the incident, police had been carrying out operations to arrest those allegedly involved in the case.
