Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, inaugurated the model design and online application for an expanded solar scheme. The initiative has increased the number of beneficiary low-income households from 100,000 to 130,000.
The Chief Minister also announced a separate solar scheme for 30,000 poor households in the newly merged districts. Priority will be given to feeders affected by electricity shortages, as well as the most underdeveloped and hottest areas.

Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur stated that the solar scheme will be provided as a complete package, including solar panels, wiring, stands for the panels, inverters, fans, and bulbs.
