KOHAT, May 21: People in Kohat district have demanded action against one Double Shah, a fraudster who deprived many local residents of their money.
Addressing a rally, they said Double Shah had taken billions of rupees from local people on pretext of business but that he later disappeared.
One of the protesters told TNN, “Many people suffered cardiac arrest. Some had sold their lands while a number of widows had sold their jewellery. Now he is threatening people.”
He said the National Accountability Bureau, a government agency taking action against corruption in Pakistan, should arrest Double Shah.
