The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completed the allocation of portfolios in the new cabinet, with Chief Minister Sohail Afridi assigning various departments to provincial ministers, advisers, and special assistants.
A formal notification regarding the distribution of portfolios has also been issued by the Cabinet Wing.
According to the details, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi has been given the Energy and Power Department, while Shakeel Ahmad has been assigned the Communications and Works Department.
Muhammad Arif has been appointed to the Minerals Department, and Tariq Mahmood Aryani has been entrusted with the Revenue and Estate portfolio.
Shafiullah Jan has been assigned the Information and Public Relations Department, while Adviser to the Chief Minister Musawir Khan has been given the portfolio of Climate Change, Forests, Environment, and Wildlife.

Similarly, Liaqat Khan has been assigned Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare, Special Education, and Women Empowerment, while Humayun Khan has been given Industries and Commerce, and Mian Muhammad Umar has been assigned Agriculture.
Special Assistant Tariq Saeed has been given the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Muhammad Usman has been assigned the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, and Tufail Anjum has been entrusted with Population Welfare.
Iftikharullah Jan has been assigned Prisons, Samiullah Khan has been given Transport and Mass Transit, Malik Adil Iqbal has been assigned Culture, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums, while Muhammad Khurshid has been entrusted with Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives.
Muhammad Israr has been given the Food Department portfolio.
Following the notification, the newly formed provincial cabinet will assume responsibilities for their respective departments.
