PESHAWAR, July 17: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved 100,000 rupees each for the medical treatment of known Pashto poet Mr Fazal Subhan and singers Mr Ahmad Gul and Mr Akbar Hussain.
President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture Journalists Forum Mr Ehtisham Toru informed the Provincial Minister for Culture and Public Health Mr Shah Farman in a meeting about the miserable condition of the ailing poet and singers.
A statement says the provincial minister released funds of 100,000 rupees each for the three persons.
On the occasion, minister said the provincial government had also started working on a policy for the welfare of the artistes and skilled people of the province.
