KP Govt Boosts Grant for Religious Seminaries from Rs30 Million to Rs100 Million

PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has significantly increased the grant for religious seminaries, raising it from Rs30 million to Rs100 million.

According to KP Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the decision was made during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Barrister Saif emphasized that students of religious seminaries are a valuable asset to the nation and highlighted the importance of integrating religious and contemporary education. “Students are being equipped not only with religious knowledge but also with modern education to meet current challenges,” he stated.

He added that under the vision of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the leadership of the current chief minister, the provincial government is committed to promoting both religious and modern education, giving special attention to seminaries alongside schools.
