PESHAWAR, October 3: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has given the provincial cabinet reshuffle.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Information, the Finance Ministry has been assigned to Mr Muzaffar Said of the Jamaat-e-Islami and the Law Ministry to Mr Imtiaz Shahid, who was deputy speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

The Law Ministry was vacant since the death of law minister Mr Israrullah Gandapur in a suicide attack on Eidul Fitr last year.

The office of deputy speaker, provincial assembly, has been given to Chief Minister’s advisor Mr Arif Yousaf.

The Finance Ministry, who had been vacated by Jamaat-e-Islami chief Mr Sirajul Haq, has been given to Muzaffar Said of the same party. The Local Government Minister Mr Inayatullah Khan has been given the office of Senior Minister, which was earlier held by Mr Sirajul Haq.

The statement also says that Mr Shah Muhammad Wazir and Dr Amjad Ali have been appointed special advisors to the chief minister.
