HANGU: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have started imparting training to the Police personnel deployed in the tribal districts of the province. In the first phase, 25 Muharers from Kurram tribal district have begun their training at Hangu Police training school on Thursday.
District Police Officer (DPO) Ihsan Ullah Khan while giving lecturer to the police Muharer said that the purpose of the training is to make policemen able to perform responsibilities in tribal districts in an efficient manner. He added that after taking the training, they will be able to serve the people of tribal areas in a better position.
After the merger of Khasadars and Levies forces with the KP police, IGP has taken training responsibilities. Under the training process, well-training and experienced police officers of the province will provide training and lecturers. In this regard, the training timetable and schedule have also been prepared.
The DPO said that after the completion of the professional training course, KP police will conduct the exam after which they will be issued certificates.
Two police station inaugurated in Bajaur
BAJAUR: The Regional Police Officer Malakand Saeed Wazir inaugurated two police stations at Nawgai and Khar tehsils of district Bajaur. The DPO Bajaur Shahab Ali Shah, DPO Dir Payan Arif Shahbaz and a large number of police officers were present on this occasion.
The RPO also listened to issues of recently merged Levy personnel into the police force and addressed the Darbar of DPO office. The levies and Khasadar men demanded Shuhada package like police, provision of gasoline for patrolling and informed the RPO about other issues.
The RPO, on the occasion said that despite limited resources efforts were being made to address issues of Levy personnel. He lauded the sacrifices of security personnel in the line of duty as front line force, adding that security personnel successful foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists.
