In a decisive move, DPO Lakki Marwat Taimur Khan has suspended and transferred several police officers from Ghazni Khel police station due to serious allegations of connections with criminals.
The suspended officers include Additional SHO Sub-Inspector Qudratullah, Head Constable Syed Ali, Madad Muharr Qayyum, LHC Mohsin, and DFC Khalid. Also implicated are five gunmen of former SHO Shafqatullah Khan: constables Barkatullah, Nowroz, Shafiq, Nisar, and Amanat, along with wireless operator Mir Qalam and a dozen other policemen. They have all been relocated to the police lines.
DPO Taimur Khan emphasized that if the inquiry report confirms their involvement in criminal activities and corruption, the concerned officials will be dismissed from the department. He underscored a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, stating that there is no room for "black sheep" in the police force.

Khan reiterated his commitment to maintaining the integrity of the police department, asserting that strict departmental action will be taken against any officer or personnel found engaging in corrupt practices. "Punishment will continue in the police department," he added.
It is noteworthy that the SH of Ghazni Khel police station was suspended two days before this action.
