Unknown assailants targeted the hujra (guesthouse) of Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhammad Khan in the village of Dabak Mandrakhel, Lakki Marwat, using explosives. Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhammad Khan is a prominent leader of the Lakki Marwat Police's Peace Committee and an active member of the ‘Aman Pasoon’.

Sources indicate that the explosion occurred at night, causing no casualties, as the sub-inspector was stationed at the Sarai Naurang police station, and the hujra was empty at the time of the attack.

Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhammad Khan has condemned the attack, describing it as an attempt to sabotage the ongoing police protests and intimidate officers into abandoning their demands. Without naming anyone, he suggested that the incident was part of a broader effort to weaken the police's protest movement.

It is worth noting that police personnel in Lakki Marwat have been protesting for the past four days, staging a sit-in on the Peshawar-Karachi Indus Highway, causing long traffic jams stretching for several kilometers.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have begun the necessary procedures to apprehend those responsible.
