Players from Landi Kotal delivered an impressive performance at the Inter-Division All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Jujitsu Championship held at the Peshawar Sports Complex under the auspices of the KP Sports Department, winning medals in various competitions.

Landi Kotal players Asif Khan and Mubarak Khan put up strong performances and secured prominent positions. The players achieved the success under the leadership of Sensei Hayat Nazir.

Teams from all divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated actively in the championship, while the Landi Kotal team also competed in various events.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Sensei Hayat Nazir said that martial arts players from Landi Kotal continue to achieve success at the national and international levels despite limited resources and a lack of adequate support from the government and other institutions.

He said the lack of government support and proper facilities was causing frustration among young athletes. He urged the government, local administration and community to encourage talented players, provide them with proper facilities and take practical steps to develop their skills.

Sensei Hayat Nazir said martial arts is a positive, healthy and discipline-based activity for young people. With proper support and necessary facilities, young athletes can bring even greater recognition to Pakistan at national and international levels in the future.

Members of the Landi Kotal team appreciated the overall arrangements for the championship and also praised the efforts of President Tahseenullah, General Secretary Naeem Jan, and members of the referee panel Allah Gul and Fazal Afridi.
