A Saudi Airlines flight experienced a harrowing incident while landing at Peshawar's Bacha Khan Airport, where a fire erupted in the plane's tire.

According to the airport administration, the accident occurred during the aircraft's landing, resulting in injuries to 12 to 15 passengers. Prompt medical attention was provided as the injured were swiftly transported to the hospital. The injured included both male and female passengers who sustained injuries while disembarking the plane.

In a subsequent statement from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) spokesperson, it was detailed that the left landing gear of Saudi Airlines Flight 792 caught fire upon landing. The air traffic controller noticed smoke and sparks emanating from the left landing gear and immediately alerted the pilot to the situation.

The airport management acted swiftly and efficiently, managing to control the fire in the landing gear promptly, thereby averting a potential disaster.
