MINGORA, September 10: Lightning has claimed a life in Swat district, the police say.
On 9 September, Mr Muhammad Zar was sitting under a tree while grazing his cattle in Gam Ser area when lightning struck him. He died on the spot.
Incidents of lightning are a routine in mountainous area of Swat valley because of the high altitude.
