Three people were killed and four others injured after lightning struck in the Mirobak area, within the jurisdiction of Kalaya Police Station in Orakzai district.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Orakzai, Shaukat Ali, local residents were digging a grave for a funeral when lightning suddenly struck them.As a result, three people died on the spot while four others sustained injuries.

Police said the injured and the deceased were immediately shifted to Kalaya Hospital, where the wounded are receiving medical treatment.
