GHALLANAI, July 7: An inferno reduced to ashes medicines and other goods worth millions of rupees at a store in the Mohmand Agency Headquarters Hospital here.
A senior doctor of hospital said the fire erupted at the main store in the small hours of 7 July. Khasadar and Levies personnel controlled the fire after two hours.
The fire burnt all the medicines in the store, including injections for Hepatitis-B and C, he said.
He added that the fire caused loss of 2.5 million rupees because there is no fire brigade van in the agency and it was difficult to douse the flames.
