TANK, September 11: A member of peace committee has been shot dead in Tank district, the police say.
Unidentified gunmen fired shots on Rafiullah inside his home in Kari Shah Noor area, killing him on the spot.
The government set up peace committees in various areas of settled and tribal region of Pakistan to fight militants through joint efforts of security forces and public. A number of peace committee activists have been killed in various parts of the country so far.
