BANNU, May 4: A minor girls has died of dengue fever in Bannu district.
Ihsanullah, resident of Sokri Karim Khan area, said he admitted her daughter as she was suffering from fever. He said the doctors later confirmed her daughter was suffering from dengue fever.
He said her daughter passed away after blood started bleeding through her nostrils and mouth.
Recently the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government carried out a campaign to raise awareness among people about dengue fever and also distributed mosquito nets among residents of various areas. Last year more than 50 people had died of dengue fever in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
