Sindh High Court has granted bail to the Ali Wazir, the Member of National Assembly (MNA) from North Waziristan in a hate speech case on Wednesday.
His counsel Qadir Khan Advocate confirmed that the court approved the bail of jailed MNA and asked him to submit a surety bond of Rs 500,000.
The court said that efforts were never made to arrest other co-accused in case including Manzoor Pashteen, Mohsin Dawar and Dr Jameel. The bench also observed that the bail of other accused was also not challenged.
The jailed MNA is facing three hate speech cases and court had allowed him bail in two cases previously.
Ali Wazir had hate speech cases against him registered at Shah Latif and Sohrab Goth police stations.
