SADDA, October 28: A child has been killed and his sister injured as a result of mortar shelling in Khyber Agency.
TNN correspondent says the incident took place in the area of Boghaki. The child, Junaid Ali, had found a mortar that he brought home, which had exploded later on. As a result, he died on the spot while his sister got injured and was shifted to hospital.
Elder of peace committee kidnapped along with son
Meanwhile, some unidentified men abducted an elder of peace committee along with his son.
TNN correspondent says Haji Jan Muhammad was kidnapped on his way home from Doaba city in the afternoon.
