KOHAT, May 3: The Zawak Literary Organisation held a musharia (poetry recital session) in memory of famous Pashto poet Ghani Khan (late).
Poets from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal areas participated in the mushaira. The participants lauded the services of Ghani Khan for Pashto language and literature and recited poetry praising him.
The Pashto poets have declared 2014 as the year of Ghani Khan in connection with his centenary.
Ghani Khan, a poet, painter and sculptor, was born in 1914 and he died at the age of 82.
