PESHAWAR, September 30: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved investigation of corruption cases against the Awami National Party’s Senator Azam Khan Hoti, former federal minister Ms Firdous Ashiq Awan and other political leaders.

A NAB press release says there are corruption cases against Mr Hoti and his wife that they have withdrawn about 130 million rupees from the banks.

Mr Firodus Ashiq Awan of the Pakistan People’s Party is blamed for the use of 13 government buses for personal use.

The release says that the NAB has also approved investigation into corruption cases against Mr Rana Ishaq of the PML-N, Maulana Abdul Wasay of JUI-F and former secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Scheme Mr Zakiullah.
