PESHAWAR, August 23: The National Accountability Bureau has arrested another assistant executive officer of Public Works Department (PWD) in Batkhela, Malakand Agency in a corruption case.
The NAB Media Coordinator, Mr Saadullah Khan, said Assistant Executive Engineer Mr Kaleemullah had been accused of embezzling millions of rupees in drinking water and other development projects.
He added that about 2.90 billion rupees had been embezzled in the mentioned projects. Two days ago, the NAB arrested two officials of the same department, SDO Mr Asmatullah and Sub-Engineer Mr Nisar, for their alleged involvement in corruption.
