BANNU, November 21: The Association for Community Development (ACD) has planned a project of cleaning the ration centres and providing the displaced youth with employments in North Waziristan Agency.

The cleaning process has been launched at ration centres, which are frequented by maximum number of IDPs. The workers assigned by ACD remain busy cleaning up the ration centres all day long.

“We have decided to clean the place. The complex allocated for ration distribution was extremely dirty. But now we are happy to see it clean,” stated an IDP.

The ACD’s Employment and Field Officer Mr Naseeb Wazir disclosed that about 1,500 youngsters had been registered.

“We have made a database of educated people and we present their documents to the organisations that come here for the development or welfare work, because we want to get the IDPs jobs,” he added.
