PESHAWAR, August 14: A social welfare organisation, Relief International, held a workshop for journalists about various diseases, including those transmitted from animals to humans.
The two-day workshop was held at a private hotel, in which the medical specialists informed the participants about the communicable diseases of human to human and zoonotic diseases, which are transmitted from animals to human beings.
The doctors also provided information about how to prevent the diseases and how to cure them. The organisation’s coordinator Dr Inayatullah told TNN that the main reason behind informing journalists about these diseases was to raise awareness among public through media.
