In an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan’s Spinwam area, security forces eliminated four militants in a fierce exchange of fire, as confirmed by ISPR.
The operation also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists, who were involved in multiple attacks on security forces and targeted killings of innocent civilians. A clearance operation is ongoing to eradicate the remaining threats.
Meanwhile, Punjab's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted 200 intelligence-based operations across cities including Lahore, Jhelum, and Rawalpindi, apprehending 23 suspects.

Seven were arrested in Lahore with weapons, explosive materials, and maps of a key educational institution. CTD also recovered IEDs, detonators, and extremist literature during the operations.
Over the week, 9,471 combing operations led to the detention of 1,033 suspects and questioning of over 21,000 individuals, disrupting plans to instill fear through terrorist activities.
