JAMRUD, May 8: Unidentified armed men shot dead a man and injured another in Khyber Agency last night.
Mr Naik Muhammad and Mr Qismat were standing in front of Ashna Market in Ghundi area of Jamrud tehsil when armed motorcyclists opened fire on them.
Mr Qismat died on the spot while Naik Muhammad was injured. An official of the local administration said the deceased Qismat was a soldier of the paramilitary Frontier Corps and had come home on leave.
