KOHAT, July 10: Unidentified gunmen fired shots on a vehicle, killing a man in Kohat district, the police say.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Astarzai Police Station where driver Wali Muhammad was taking vegetables in a pickup truck to Khyber Agency.
The Levies personnel at a checkpost asked him to pick one Wahib Ali with him. After travelling some distance, the unidentified armed assailants ambushed the vehicle and shot dead Wahib Ali dead. The police say they are investigating the case.
