JAMRUD, April 24: The local administration sealed more than 700 shops in a crackdown against drug dealers in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency, officials said.
The raid was conducted in Wazir Dhand area where action was taken against the sellers of opium, heroine and charas. The officials warned the shopkeepers that they might be arrested if they reopened their shops.
TNN correspondent says the administration had sealed the drug shops in Dildar Plaza a week ago, but that the shopkeepers resumed the business later on.
