On the last trading day of the previous week, the local market had recorded a Rs500 decline in the price of gold per tola. However, gold rates increased again on the new trading day.

Experts say that global economic uncertainty, ongoing tensions in different regions, monetary policies of central banks, and fluctuations in the value of the US dollar directly affect gold prices. As a result, even minor changes in the international market can influence gold rates in the local bullion market.
