The Federal Cabinet has approved the Hajj Policy and Plan 2027–2030, under which people intending to perform Hajj will be able to register in advance for any Hajj season up to the year 2030.
During the briefing, the Cabinet was informed that a priority waiting list will be prepared based on advance registrations. In addition, a Shariah-compliant Hajj savings scheme will be introduced, allowing prospective pilgrims to save gradually for future Hajj expenses.
The Cabinet was also told that the entire Hajj system will be digitized in phases to make the application process and other procedures more efficient, transparent, and convenient.

The Federal Cabinet directed that the appointment of Hajj assistants be carried out strictly on merit and through a transparent process. It also instructed that both government and private Hajj arrangements be subject to independent third-party audits to ensure quality and accountability.
