PESHAWAR, May 24: The Pakistan Cricket Board has invited Sri Lankan team to visit Pakistan to revive international cricket in the country.
Sources in the Board say the Sri Lankan team has been invited for two one-day matches and one T20 match in Lahore, Punjab province.
The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has said they will decide about visiting Pakistan in a meeting soon.
In March 2009, nine people were killed when gunmen attacked Sri Lankan team in the provincial capital Peshawar. Seven Sri Lankan players were also injured. After the incident, no international cricket match was held in Pakistan due to security reasons.
