Pakistan has successfully conducted a test of the Shaheen-II, a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. The test aimed to train troops and validate various technical parameters, focusing on assessing the missile's accuracy and the performance of its subsystems under different conditions.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the test was observed by senior officials from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists, and strategic organizations.

The Director General of the Strategic Plans Division praised the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment of the scientists who made this significant achievement possible.
Furthermore, ISPR reported that President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Services Chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test of the Shaheen-II ballistic missile.
