Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has issued a stern warning to India, stating that Pakistan will respond "swiftly and fiercely" if provoked or attacked.
In an interview with a Turkish news agency, the Pakistan Army spokesperson emphasized that "India is not Israel, and Pakistan is not Palestine."
The DG ISPR stated that Pakistan is currently the worst victim of terrorism in the world, with over 3,700 incidents reported since January 2024.

He held India responsible for sponsoring and encouraging terrorism inside Pakistan, revealing that 3,896 people — including 2,582 civilians and security personnel — have been martyred in the past 17 months.
Touching on the ongoing Kashmir dispute, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif reiterated that Kashmir is an internationally recognized conflict and India’s internal affairs cannot dictate regional peace.
“We are a peace-loving nation, but if India provokes us, our response will be rapid and brutal,” he warned. “India is not the United States, and Pakistan is not Afghanistan. Pakistan will not submit to Indian domination.”
Referring to recent tensions, he disclosed that Pakistan had shot down five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafales, although India refuses to acknowledge this.
He also mentioned the Pahalgam incident, criticizing India for failing to provide any credible evidence and using it as a pretext for aggressive rhetoric.
Commenting on the recent Jaffer Express attack, Lt Gen Chaudhry said that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) openly sought assistance from India, and some Indian leaders, politicians, and retired generals publicly supported the group.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif concluded that India’s quick realization of these facts would benefit both regional and global peace.
