afghan medicine

PESHAWAR, November 20: The Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Department says in a report that about 300 companies are exporting substandard medicines to Afghanistan.

The report says that most of the medicines available in Afghan markets have been exported from Pakistan.

It says that these companies export the substandard medicines to Afghanistan because they know they cannot sell their products in their own country.

The substandard medicines are easily sold in Afghan markets because there is no proper system in place to check the quality of the products in the war-ravaged country.
