LAKKI MARWAT, November 28: On behalf of Pakistani Students Association in South Korea, bedclothes have been distributed among 200 internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency currently lodged in Lakki Marwat district.

A local social worker of the area, Mr Inamullah Khan, and his colleagues distributed the quilts and bedding items amongst IDPs in a ceremony held at the district office of Al-Khidmat Foundation in Lakki Marwat. The Foundation is a social welfare wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami, a coalition partner in the provincial government.

On the occasion, Mr Inam said that Pakistani students in South Korea had saved their pocket money and used that to dispatch the consignment of relief goods for the displaced people.

The IDPs thanked the students for sending them relief items from such a distant area.
